The truth is that I’d rather meet you for coffee and tacos but meeting through the interwebs will suffice for now. I’m Rachel Brown and I’m writing about connecting with others through food, travel, faith, and community. I live in Dallas, Texas, with my husband, James, and our English Mastiffs, Callie & Coach. I am blessed to work full-time as the Director of Project Development for the Touch A Life Foundation. Amongst other things, I love traveling, lake life, city surfing, margaritas (with salt), Bikram yoga, and, of course, coffee and tacos. Stay awhile, won’t you?

Oh my goodness, what an honor! Thank you so much, Aisha!
Hi Rachel! I love your writing! I found out about your blog through Darling magazine– just read your article about 3 women who are changing the world. So inspiring! I lived in Mozambique for 3 years and had a Boerboel mastiff named Shaka Zulu while living there! They are the best dogs! 🙂 Did you live in Africa too?
